THE KANZ ERREMAL HOTEL
Land
The hotel is built on a plot of land that is 300m by 180m, with this latter side facing the dunes. The ERG
CHEBBI dune field is just 200 metres away.
Decoration and construction technique
The building is conceived as a two-floor Kasbah with four towers.
The materials used include all the safety of a modern building while, at the same time, using the wisdom
of traditional materials which create a comfortable, welcoming ambiance.
All the decoration is based on local crafts: rugs, ceramics, lamps, wrought iron, traditional tiling, wood
and earthenware.
The ground floor (600m2) is given over to public rooms: reception, café bar, hall/central courtyard,
dining room, meeting rooms.
The first floor has 10 rooms, all of them exterior rooms with en-suite bathroom. Rooms communicate
with the central corridor, which leads to a large covered terrace that offers amazing views of the dunes.
Breakfast and bar service are available on this terrace.
The second floor has four rooms, one in each of the towers. They can be reached from the roof
terrace: during the day, guests can use the terrace to enjoy the views and, at night, it can be used by
those who prefer to sleep under the stars

IMMEDIATE PROJECTS FOR DEVELOPING THE HOTEL
Construction of an indoor swimming pool with a view of the dunes, surrounded by a sun terrace with bar
service. Project begins: Expected opening: APRIL 2005. Creation of a 3,000m2 palm plantation on hotel
land in order to create a microclimate of native vegetation.
