The journeys by road from the cities of Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Errachidia and Fez, cities with airport, are spectacular itineraries to discover the marvellous nature and culture of the south of Morocco.

FROM MARRAKECH TO KANZ ERREMAL
The road from Marrakech to Ouarzazate is one of the most beautiful in Morocco, and has to be done at low speed because is a mountain pass which crosses the Atlas at 2.300 m height. After crossing the High-Atlas, by noon we arrive to the “Door of the Big South”, one of the names of the city of Ouarzazate. The countryside is getting more and more dry, announcing the arrival to the desert. Lunch en route. Afterwards we pass by Tinherir, the biggest oasis in the south and we continue towards the desert by a straight and narrow road to the east, parallel to the Anti-Atlas. On the road we will probably see camels in the hammada, the desert of stones that arises already in this region, and the ancient hydraulic galleries, which were built to provide water to the Atlas from the Sahara, will astonish us.

Arrival at the evening to Erg Chebbi, the magnificent dunes field at more than 300 metres height, where is Kanz Erremal and we are awaited for dinner and accommodation.

FROM OUARZAZATE TO KANZ ERREMAL

We take the « Road of the thousand Kasbahs » on the way to Tinherir, the greenest oasis in the south, from where we enter the Canyon of Toudrà, curious phenomenon of the nature where stand granite walls of more than 200 meters height which will impress us. After the tour to the Canyon we follow the road to Kanz Erremal, a beautiful itinerary among palms, stones and water, with the desert at the background. Lunch en route, and in the evening arrival at Kanz Erremal for dinner and accommodation.

FROM FES TO ERRACHIDIA AND TO KANZ ERREMAL

We will cross two Atlas high plateaus of 2.000 m height, with a wide variety of woods and vegetation. During the journey we will see nomads camps and the first camels.
A special stop at the cedars woods is recommended to see the monkeys at short distance. We enter the canyon of the Ziz and we long its valley. At night arrival to Kanz Erremal for dinner and accommodation.

FROM RISSANI TO KANZ ERREMAL
The closest city to get to Kanz Erremal by road is Rissani. Is a 35 kilometres road direction south to Merzouga. Two kilometres before Merzouga a signal shows the way to the hotel on the left hand-side.
At this crossing starts a track of two kilometres - convenient for all types of vehicles - that lead to the hotel Kanz Erremal, towards the dunes.
